About me + Filly World Discord

Hello everyone!  My name is Moji. I'm a 22 year old collector from Germany, and have been collecting Filly since 2010. My collection spans across figurines, magazines, plushies and blindbag-packaging, and the odd other Filly merchandise i come across. My first ever Filly were Kuno and the Miracle Fairy Tin, and the rest is history. Unicorns and Fairys are by far my favorite series, being very dear to me. I would say my favorite Filly has to be Agnix. The keychain plush of him travelled everywhere with me when i was 7, and still does now :)  Fillys symbolize joy and unconditional love to me, which i value a lot. They also have been an amazing topic to bond over and to make new friends :D (Hi Eli!!) My focus on this blog will be plushies and Fakies/Error Filly, as i find those fascinating and i want to collect as much information on them as possible. I have been researching various types of Fakies, so those will be looked at by series/release instead of just the general c...

Filly Spotlight: Melian

Image
Since Melian somehow became the mascot of our Filly Discord Server, i want to dedicate the first Spotlight to her! This is a new series i want to try out, where i showcase hopefully all variants of a Filly :D. Here's an overview of all my Melian variants - missing the big golden wing Schulfee, of which Eli will kindly send me a photo i will add later on! The normal figurines were available in the usual blindbags, or little surprise balls with a candy. There is regional differences in the big and baby figures. In some regions the big Fillys have darker, almost brown crowns. Likewise, some babies have weird not fully inset eyes and non colored hooves (like mine). This one is from Poland, my german baby Fillys look more like the bigger counterparts.      These babies are from Filly magazines exclusively. The neon Melian is part of a collection of 7 baby Fairies with neon pink wings! Similarily, here are the Schulfee Melians. In canon, they're supposed to be different charact...

Filly Unicorn Fakies

Image
This is the story of the Filly Unicorn Fakies. Get cozy, its a longer one. The original Filly Unicorn line launched in Feburary 2011 with 21 figures, with a few more characters and special figures being introduced later on. Growing up, besides Fairy, Unicorn was my absolute favorite series. In late 2024 i found out that Filly Fakies are a thing, and especially interesting to me was the fact that there was unicorn Fakies!! I have now managed to collect all 7 of the fake unicorns, so let's dive into it. These Fakies are produced by the same company that produced the original, branded Filly figures, Weijun. Since the Filly brand has been sold, they can't produce Filly anymore - but since these are recolors / frankensteined-together figures, they technically don't count as Filly.  Weijun is a B2B (Business to Business) toy manufacturer, specialising in ODM (original design manufacturing, aka they make the toys and others brand them, the case for Fakies) and OEM (original equipm...

Filly Forest Plushies - Non-Keychain

Image
Filly Forest was the first release of Filly, still finding their style and missing the iconic crown - so finding out they had plushie releases immideately piqued my interest! I was very curious as to how they looked. Online i found sparse promo material, only coming across two low resolution screenshots. They look wildly different to their later plushie counterparts! I now had a reference, and could start looking for them. Since they did not have a Filly tag, nor did they look like the contemporary Filly, i figured they would be near impossible to find looking for "Filly Plushie" as keyword. I found my plushies looking through hundreds of ads for nondescript pony/horse plushies, one even being listed as "ugly horse plush", which made me laugh.  Here are my non-keychain Forest plushies, i will photograph the keychain ones another time! Thor was my first find, i got him from Germany. He is in quite a good condition! I love his pose too. He has the old Filly branding ...
